J1386 - Premises Manager

Grade D £20,092 - £22,183 pro-rata basis (actual £17,648 - £19,485)

Exwick Heights Primary School is looking for a hard-working, reliable and proactive premises manager to join our dedicated and enthusiastic staff. We are keen to find an individual as committed as we are to provide the best learning environment for our school community. The successful candidate will be committed to sharing in the development and success of our school. 

Duties will include ensuring the premises are always clean and tidy, preparing plans for maintenance, overseeing security arrangements, portering, monitoring health and safety compliance and managing the premises budget. Enthusiasm and a willingness to adapt are considered essential qualities.

J2066 - Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 2

Grade B2 Salary £18,198 (pro-rata £9,703.24)

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide support for our Year 6 pupils. Ideally, applicants will have recent, relevant experience of working with children within an educational setting at upper Key Stage 2. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking, creative practitioners, who are able to motivate pupils and demonstrate secure subject knowledge for the Year 6 curriculum.

J2067 - Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 1 SEND

12 noon to 3.20pm Monday to Friday, 16.67 hours per week, Grade B2 Salary £18,198 (pro-rata £6,810.65)

Do you consider yourself to be an excellent practitioner, who always puts the needs of the children first?

We are seeking a highly skilled teaching assistant to work within a Key Stage 1 Classroom to support a pupil with complex social and emotional needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the child’s needs and encouraging him to become an independent learner across the curriculum.

Experience of working within a school setting is essential. Supporting children with complex needs is desirable but not essential as a thorough induction will be given. You must be totally committed to supporting pupils and have an excellent attendance record within the work place. A reliable, enthusiastic, calm approach, as well as the ability to work as part of a team is equally essential. Knowledge and experience of Attachment Based Mentoring is highly desired for this position.

J0113 - Teaching Assistant - Nursery

8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week Grade B2 Salary £18,198 (pro-rata £13,278.11)

We are seeking a highly skilled teaching assistant to work within our growing Nursery, part of our successful and thriving Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Mealtime Assistant Required
Grade A, Scale Point 1, £9.25 per hour
